TwittRP Privacy Policy

TwittRP attempts to respect your privacy to the utmost degree. Privacy-enhancing browser extensions are supported and encouraged.

Please follow @TweetiePieHelps for updates. Questions, feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

Gathering Information

  • TwittRP does not have access to your Twitter login information, and will only perform actions that you explicitly initiate (e.g. retrieving your mentions, and posting the tweets you have authored).
  • For troubleshooting and debugging purposes, calls to the Twitter API are logged for a short period of time.

Storing Your Information

  • TwittRP attempts to store the absolute minimum amount of non-identifiable information for the absolute minimum amount of time for the sole purpose of ensuring reliable and convenient service.
  • Your browsing session token is stored for approximately 24 hours so that you do not need to log into Twitter separately each time. You can clear your cookies and local storage to terminate the session, or use Incognito mode to do so automatically.
  • Any incomplete tweets are stored in your browser’s local storage so that accidentally closing the tab would not mean losing your work. The data is removed once the tweets are sent. To remove this data manually, you can clear your local storage, or use Incognito mode.
  • The information logged for debugging purposes is automatically disposed of in 7 days.

Third-Party Integrations

  • TwittRP may enable GDPR-compliant Google Analytics to assist in tracking user counts to ensure reliable service. The use of privacy-enhancing browser extensions such as uBlock Origin is encouraged if you do not wish to allow this at any time.
  • TwittRP logs are stored at the GDPR-compliant Papertrail.
